My Kitchen Bookshelf

I'm not much of a collector except for books. I am trying to be modest here, but I admit I have quite a collection of cookbooks. I didn't just end up with them but I worked and prayed and hoped and most of all spent money collecting these books over the years. Yea, some expensive hobby I got going on over here. Some books, I picked when I was just a kid, some I bought on book buying sprees, some I couldn't leave behind in the bookstore, others, my friends and family thought were perfect gifts for me (and they were so right) and so many are those I periodically ticked off my wishlist, which by the way is constantly expanding. I will soon put a page of that as well .There is one thing common in all the books though, each has a special memory and story spun around them. Not all books may reflect great taste, but there's a reason they are in my bookshelf and my books mean so much to me. Here'a peek into my kitchen bookshelf.
