I know it's been a lot of desserts n sweets lately and I really needed to post something different this time. . My sweet tooth has had enough of pleasure , so I guess the sweet marathon can stop for now. . So that's why I am shifting to curry. .
Spinach, cream and chicken. . would sound continental right.. . But not this one. The spices make it all Indian. . And I know most curries take a lot of time to make, and almost always involve grinding a masala, but not this one. .
So here is all you will need :
Half a kilo chicken
A bunch of spinach leaves, washed, drained and roughly chopped
Oil : 1 tbsp
2 onions finely chopped
1tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp chilli powder
1tsp garam masala
1tbsp cream.
salt
Got to tell you, this was so simple to make . Get started by heating the oil and then fry the onions till light brown. . Add the ginger garlic paste , fry for a minute and then add the tomato puree. . Add the chilli powder and garam masala powder along with the chicken. Mix well and fry on a rather high flame for 2 to 3 mins. Reduce the flame and add 1/4 cup water, salt and cook covered till the chicken is done. Finally add the spinach leaves and when wilted , add the cream,. . Serve with steamed rice..
That's all. . . . . Now wasn't that easy and short. . . . . Go ahead and try it out...........
